Dance Styles
Ballet / Contemporary Ballet - includes pointe and classical
Jazz - includes all jazz styles
Tap - all tap routines
Hip Hop - all hip hop styles
Contemporary / Lyrical - includes lyrical/modern or contemporary
Musical Theatre - this category is for all musical theatre routines inclusive of tap routines that are based on musical theatre
Acro - this category showcases the fusion of gymnastics and/or acrobatic work and dance choreography. We don't want to see the same trick repeated; however, variations are welcome.
Awards & Features
First place recipients will have the opportunity to perform at an Invitational Showcase a couple of months after the Emanate Competition
Every dancer will receive an initial medal, additionally they will be awarded pins
There will be opportunities for scholarships

General Details
Time Limit: 3 minutes for solos, duos, and trios
Deadline for Entries: Saturday, January 30, 2027 (late registration pricing begins Tuesday, January 5, 2027)
Entry Limit: Dancers can participate in 1 solo, 1 duo, and/or 1 trio in the same dance style, but not in the same category (ie. dancers can not do 2 Ballet solos, but they can do 1 Ballet solo and 1 Ballet duo)
Age & Ability Levels
Competition for ages 10+
Beginner - Less than 2 years of experience
Elementary - 2-4 years
Senior - 5+ years
